When I am trying to login, I am getting an error message saying “Invalid login”

It could be because you have opened the Hammond website instead you need to login using this link “mycourse.hammond.edu.au”

Or

Your account has been suspended due to the inactivity in the course

I worked on the assessment, saved it and when opened again I lost all my work

You need to download the file and save it on your computer and open it as a pdf file from there. Please do not open the file directly from your internet browser.

Why I am not able to see the units in advance for my course?

The units are available once it being delivered in the class. After this time if you are still not able to find the unit/s, please contact your trainer or send us an email on

[email protected]

Why I am not able to upload my assessment?

It could be because of the file size. If the file size is more than 20 MB then you need to split the files and upload, you can upload multiple files, but each file should not exceed 20 MB size.

Where can I find the feedback for my assessments?

You need to go to assessment à Click on the assessment E.g.-Assessment CHCECE002, on the next page under feedback section you can see the grade and feedback comments for that assessment

I am not able to enter the virtual classroom

Please take a screenshot of the error message and email it to [email protected] along with your full name and enrolled course.

Do I need to sign assignment or typing my name is enough?

Yes you do need to sign your assessment and your digital signatures are the easy way to do this. Typing your name in signatures column will not be accepted.

Can I use the tablet, iPad or any other internet enabled device to assess the online portal?

Yes, you can access your online classes. However, to complete your online assessment you are required to a PC.

Can I upload my Powerpoint presentations presentation videos on the portal?

Yes, you can up to a maximum of 20MB file size.

How can I interact with the trainer in the virtual classroom

There is a public and private chat options available. Your trainer can also give you permission to talk if required.

Can I enter the virtual classroom using the microphone option?

It is advisable to opt the “Listen” only option so that there should not be any disturbance or chaos in the class. Your trainer can give you the permission to do so.

What am I required to submit?

You are only required to submit the assessments for each units and work placement booklets, other resources are for the information and practice only.

How should I get in touch with my trainer at other times for any queries?

Trainers usually give their details in the class but for some reasons if  don’t have the details Please send us an email on [email protected]

Please note that you might have to wait for trainer to respond back to you. Usual wait time is between 48 to 72 hrs.
